Caolan has been performing and playing piano since the age of seven. Throughout his career, he has led and toured with bands around the world and, more recently, recorded the Original London Cast recording of Amélie, The Musical. In addition to his Grammy-nominated success with Amélie, Caolan has appeared in major international films such as Belfastand performed in acclaimed theatre productions, including Once at the Queen’s Theatre and The Plough and the Stars at the National Theatre. Despite his busy career, Caolan remains connected to his roots in Irish pub music, often performing in leading Irish venues across the UK when time allows.
As a dedicated educator with deep experience in musical pedagogy and philosophy, Caolan has taught a wide range of students, including professional musicians, actors, adult amateurs, and hobbyists from around the globe. Since joining the coaching team at the London Contemporary School of Piano, he has quickly become one of our most sought-after teachers.
