Meet Caitlin Rees Davies
A musical free spirit. A vocalist. A songwriter. A student of piano. A guitarist. A podcaster. A shoulder to cry on. Cait's musical journey is a testament to persistence, passion, and the power of a very simple manifesto: "Whatever you do, don't stop". Like so many of our students at The LCSP, and after several attempts in her youth, Cait found her way back to building a relationship with the piano later on in life. A return that would shape her relationship with music and her artistic voice in the most profound ways.
Caitlin Rees's Bio...
In 2016, after almost a decade spent climbing the ladder in the world of Recruitment, Cait decided to quit her job in the corporate world to focus on her music. And since joining the team at The LCSP, as both Student and Course Director, has been developing her musicianship alongside our Coaching team, and as a member of our global community of students. Having joined our school as a complete beginner on the piano, Cait’s background within our team is unique, as she speaks from a deeply personal experience when it comes to learning an instrument later on in life.
Over the last few years, and as a result of all of this, Cait has forged pathways that have found collaborations with fellow Songwriters, Authors, Producers, and international House DJs. As a solo artist, she has spent many years imagining and developing her original material.
Whilst this is only the beginning, this lifelong journey has recently culminated in the release of her debut, six-track EP, Better Late… The title reflects Cait’s belief that it’s never too late to pursue one’s passions and that every moment of the journey adds depth and character to the final creation.
