Meet Alberto Ferro

Alberto L. Ferro is a renowned pianist and composer celebrated for his exceptional ability to merge classical traditions with modern improvisational techniques and jazz. He earned his Piano Performance Degree from the prestigious Milan Conservatory and later completed a Master’s degree in Music from Washington State University, where his focus on both jazz and classical music allowed him to develop a rare versatility across genres. His innovative Master’s thesis, Composed Improvisations for Piano Solo, explored various contemporary improvisational approaches, underscoring his deep intellectual and creative engagement with the piano.

Alberto has built a solid reputation as an educator, specializing in classical music, improvisation, and composition. As Creative Director of the London Contemporary School of Piano, his teaching approach is renowned for transforming the way students engage with music, empowering them to express their individuality while mastering technical skills. His teaching methods emphasize creative exploration and problem-solving, making him one of the most sought-after piano coaches in London.

Ferro’s discography includes highly acclaimed albums such as North of the River (2020) and The Deep End of Sound(2018), both of which are solo piano projects that blur the lines between classical structure and modern genres.
